Campfire Cookies
Campfire Cookies are a delightful treat that combine the flavors of smores with classic chocolate chip cookies. The gooey marshmallows and crunchy graham crackers evoke memories of cozy campfire nights.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups old-fashioned oats
- 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
- 1 cup mini marshmallows
- 1 cup crushed graham crackers
Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 350F 175C
In a large bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth
Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla
In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt
Gradually add this dry mixture to the butter mixture and mix until just combined
Fold in the oats, chocolate chips, mini marshmallows, and crushed graham crackers
Drop rounded spoonfuls of dough onto ungreased baking sheets
Bake for 10 to 12 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown
Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring them to wire racks to cool completely
