Layered Sorbet Watermelon Wedges
These layered sorbet watermelon wedges are a refreshing and visually stunning dessert perfect for summer gatherings. The combination of juicy watermelon and vibrant sorbets creates a delightful treat that will impress your guests.
Ingredients:
- 1 large watermelon
- 2 cups raspberry sorbet
- 2 cups lime sorbet
- 1 cup coconut sorbet
- Fresh mint leaves for garnish
Instructions:
Watermelon should be cut into wedges that are about an inch thick
Cut a hole in the middle of each watermelon wedge with a small knife
Leave about 1/2 inch of flesh on the bottom and sides
Add layers of raspberry, lime, and coconut sorbet to each hollow one at a time
Add some fresh mint leaves as a garnish
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and put the watermelon wedges on it
Freeze for at least two hours, or until the sorbet is firm
Serve right away and enjoy
