Healthy Southwest Pizza
Ingredients:
- 1 whole wheat pizza crust
- 1/2 cup black beans, drained and rinsed
- 1/2 cup corn kernels
- 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
- 1/4 cup diced red onion
- 1/4 cup diced bell peppers any color
- 1/4 cup sliced black olives
- 1/2 cup shredded low-fat cheddar cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Cooking spray
Instructions:
Turn on your oven and heat it up to 425F 220C
Spray cooking spray on a baking sheet and put the whole wheat pizza crust on it
Put the black beans on top of the pizza crust in a thin layer
On top of the beans, put the corn, diced tomatoes, red onion, bell peppers, and black olives
Put the garlic powder, chili powder, paprika, salt, and pepper in a small bowl and mix them together
Put this seasoning mix on top of the pizza ingredients
Spread the low-fat cheddar cheese shreds out evenly on top
Place the pizza in an oven that has already been heated
Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is melted and bubbly
Take the pizza out of the oven and let it cool for one minute before cutting it
Enjoy your Healthy Southwest Pizza after you cut it up and serve it
